In addition to my one-on-one coaching, I also offer an array of services to help make the transition out of a relationship as painless and efficient as possible.
24/7 Text & Email Support
One of my most popular services is my 24/7 Text & Email Support. In between our coaching sessions, my clients may contact me via email or text if something urgent has come up or there is something they would like to express. Having access to me in between session helps to accelerate my clients' healing.
Social Media Strategy
The prevalence of social media has made breaking-up even harder to do. Almost all of my clients benefit from having a social media strategy plan as a part of their recovery process so that they can focus on their own healing.
Post-Breakup "Home Cleanse" (2-3 hrs)
After the ending of a relationship, it is so important to reclaim your space and make it your own. I suggest my clients do a 3-part post-breakup "Home Cleanse." The first phase is to through your home/office and create piles - things to toss, things to return to your ex and things to donate, and the hardest of all things that you just need to get out of your sight, and ideally out of your home. These things can include photographs of the two of you, letters, memorabilia, and anything else that reminds you of your ex - get them all out of your sight, and at a future date (in about 3 months to a year) you can go through the box and decide what to keep.
Toronto-based clients can book me to do a home visit and go through the cleanse with them.
"The Exchange" - Returning Personal Belongings
One of the ways I see many people get stuck is that they do not return their ex's personal belongings within a reasonable amount of time. I suggest my clients return and retrieve personal belongings within a week of the breakup (yes within 7 days!) and have a friend assist them in the exchange. I encourage people NOT to use this as an opportunity for contact. If the desired outcome is to heal as soon as possible, it's best to have a 3rd party drop off your ex's things.
If a Toronto-based client does not have a friend who can help them in a timely manner, they can hire me, or one of my associates, to help them with the exchange.
BREAKUP/DIVORCE READY RENTALS
Whether you've been broken up with or are the one who has ended a relationship, very often one of the first steps is for one or both of the partners to find a new place to live. I have helped my clients secure temporary or long-term housing, and even negotiate leases. This can be one of the hardest and most daunting steps in separating, but also one of the most important.
If you are located in the Toronto area and looking for transitional housing (1-3 months) in the downtown core while you are sorting things out, contact me for available listings.
I am a music lover and believe greatly in the power of music as therapy. Check out my blog on breakup music therapy.
